When Kaitlin from The Every Hostess approached me about shooting a “Spring Sunrise” wedding inspiration I was all in! Her vision: a modern meets rustic spring wedding where a morning sunrise would be reflected in the flowers and details. She wanted all the decor to evoke the warmth and vibrancy that the first quiet hour of the day brings.
The Denver Botanic Gardens was the perfect place to shoot this as everything was starting to bloom and I am not sure you can get much more “springy” than that. We were fortunate enough to shoot in the Woodland Mosaic which served as the perfect backdrop for our color palette. Per usual, Ladybird Poppy knocked it out of the park with arrangements full of oranges and yellows and tons of greens! The invitation suite, menu and place cards by Earnest Bee Calligraphy used a watercolor wash of warm pinks and orange with metallic gold ink for the calligraphy. Yours Truly Cupcake created a striking cake with hand painted florals in the sunrise color palette. Our lovely model wore a lace backed Claire Pettibone gown and Maria Elena Headpieces earrings both from Little White Dress Bridal Shop. Her gorgeous hair and makeup were done by the talented Brittani Estes and Kacey Clark.
Enjoy all this spring goodness for your Thursday!
