Goodbye California.

It’s kind of crazy sitting down to write this blog post. As I look around me, there are boxes everywhere and miscellaneous items left to be packed up. We have less than 4 days left, and then the Poppleton’s are off to Colorado! This move is something we have been hoping and praying for, a new adventure for us. But now it’s really here, and a little bit surreal as I look at all the stacked boxes and continue to check off more things on the packing list–I grew up here and spent the first 4.5 years of my marriage here–so while being exciting it’s kind of weird too. But we are ready, David, Jackson and I are so excited about this new stage in our life, but will miss everyone we are leaving behind in California. For all my friends out here, don’t worry we will be coming to visit a lot! We already have shoots/weddings planned for every other month so will be out here often. And on that note, if anybody is interested in doing a shoot of any kind, still feel free to get in touch with me, between my parents living here and having jobs lined up here, I will be in California often.

Here are some photos from Mother’s Day. We took my mom (and Jackson) to the dog beach in Huntington Beach. We wanted to have one last time at the beach before we took off to the land of the Rocky Mountains. Jackson absolutely LOVES swimming in the ocean and playing in the sand. Yes I know he is ridiculously cute, hence why I couldn’t resist taking a ton of pics of him.

I hope when David and I have kids they are REALLY REALLY cute because they will have a lot to compete with.
