Dan and Lauren {Engagement}

Ever since last Summer I have been waiting for it to be Spring again. Why you ask? Because I have been dying to shoot the beautiful yellow mustard flowers that pop up all over Southern California. If you live here you know what I’m talking about. Every Spring they start sprouting up on pretty much every hillside, and it’s simply gorgeous! Dan and Lauren were a perfect couple to shoot in this setting. They are one of the most in love couples I have had the pleasure of shooting….they couldn’t keep their hands off each other! Which worked out pretty great for me, considering everything they did was so beautiful and so natural…a dream for a photographer.

Dan and Lauren met at Landmark, a restaurant/bar in Corona Del Mar about a year and a half ago. Dan was there with his brother and Lauren was out enjoying the night with one of her girl friends. They are not sure who initiated the conversation–Lauren claims he approached her and Dan claims the opposite–but either way somehow they began talking and eventually exchanged numbers. Dan called her a few days later and they met for their first date and fell in love very quickly (arguably that very night)! Lauren told me their relationship has always felt very natural and easy and that Dan is the best person she has ever met. She knew she was going to marry him long before he asked her, and apparently the feeling was mutual! Dan and Lauren, congratulations on your engagement! You two fit perfectly together.

How cute are they?! I know I say that a lot, but seriously.
I asked them to change it up and do something different so they started dancing, LOVE it!
