Natalie {Senior}

FILED IN: Uncategorized

Senior Year in High School is an important milestone in a young adult’s life. This is a time one graduates High School and becomes an adult, and goes on to college or other endeavors. Traditionally, Seniors memorialize this time by getting portraits done. At Colby Elizabeth Photography, we like to get out of the stuffy studio and do on location Senior Portraits. We especially like to bring out each individual person’s personality by going to locations that are special or meaningful to them, and adding elements that are fun and show their individuality.

Back in August, Natalie (who lives in Wisconsin) was in Colorado for her sister Kristin’s wedding, so we scheduled her Senior Portraits a few days before the wedding. Her family used to live in Colorado, so she definitely wanted a mountain backdrop for one of her locations. We headed up Flagstaff above Boulder for some nature shots and then down to the iconic Pearl Street for some contrasting urban shots. Her cousin was also in town for the wedding and Natalie and her are very close, so she had her join her in some of her photos. Natalie, thank you for asking me to share in this time in your life, I hope you enjoy the pics!

Pearl Street.

Pearl Street has lots of fun backdrops and alleyways…

We found this random alleyway with painted red brick and had some fun.
Love this one.
Flagstaff.
We laughed A LOT that day.
My favorite.
Kristin told Natalie to bring these balloons because I would love them. She was right.

Such a gorgeous view! It felt like we were on top of world.
