Today on the blog we have the Engagement Shoot of Christina’s little brother Jeff and his fiancé Nicole. These two are such a beautiful couple both inside and out and so much FUN to be around! Christina and I had a blast shooting these two in The Highlands in Denver, one of the couple’s favorite places to hang out. Of course Christina is a bridesmaid, so David and I are thrilled to also be apart of their big day by shooting the wedding. The wedding is going to take place where this journey to marriage all started….in Vail!
Earlier this year in late January, Jeff planned a special weekend up to the mountains for Nicole. The couple frequently takes weekend trips up to Fairplay to stay at Jeff’s family’s cabin, so this was not out of the ordinary. However, when Jeff said the long weekend would also include a stay at the Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch Nicole knew it would be very special. When they arrived at the hotel, Jeff’s cousin had upgraded their room to an amazing suite overlooking the mountain as a special surprise. The room was gorgeous and made for the perfect setting for Jeff to do something that he had been planning for quite some time. As Nicole sat down on the couch Jeff gave her a red heart shaped sucker that said “Love You Forever”. While Nicole thought how sweet the gift was she could not understand why Jeff kept staring so intently at her looking at the candy. She then flipped the sucker over and saw the most beautiful diamond ring and by the time she looked back up, Jeff was on one knee. Nicole was so surprised, and in rare form, was speechless. His proposal was so heart felt and romantic she truly felt like the luckiest girl in the world! To complete one of the best days of their lives they were treated to an amazing dinner at Spago restaurant.
