We did Corey and Katie’s engagement photos near the end of April, and boy were we lucky to get a little bit of Spring Snow! Both Corey and Katie live up in Dillon, CO…Corey is a Ski Patrol at Keystone Ski Resort and Katie is an elementary school teacher. This couple loves the mountains and the outdoors, so this is exactly what we were hoping for on the day of our shoot.
Corey and Katie met back in 2008 at Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp in Hillside, CO. Both had attended the camp as campers, but were coming back to be councilors. Katie remembers seeing Corey for the first time while he was helping his sister, Britta, move into her room. Corey first remembers seeing Katie in line in Columbine while checking in for the Summer. From there, the two would sit by each other during every session of Staff Training. They both admit to being very shy and weren’t quite sure what to say to each other. But somehow, they figured it out. They spent every waking moment they could together at camp…AND from there it grew into a great love story.
Corey and Katie, we had so much fun with you guys (despite the wind!) and are looking forward to your wedding this Saturday!! It’s going to be beautiful!!
