Conor and Lauren {Married!}

At the end of September, David and I had the privilege of going to Chillicothe, Ohio to shoot Conor and Lauren’s wedding. This was my first time to Ohio, which was really exciting since David has a ton of family there and used to go there every Summer as a kid. We flew into Dayton and were able to stay with David’s Uncle at his Grandma and Grandpa’s old house (where he would stay on their family trips as a kid), this was really fun to see after hearing so much about it. The next morning we took a little road trip to Chillicothe, which I had never heard of, but fun fact was the original capital of Ohio! Chillicothe is Lauren’s home town and so cute!! The perfect location for a backyard DIY wedding, LOVED it! Conor and Lauren recently moved there from Southern California with their new son Oliver and bought the house next door to Lauren’s parents house. This house is soo beautiful, and BIG! All the guys and girls had separate areas to get ready here and we took a TON of the photos in or around the house. I just loved the details and charm of it all. Conveniently, the wedding was held right next door at Lauren’s parents house. Friends, family and neighbors watched the couple tie the knot in the beautiful front yard. A fabulous reception followed beneath the beautifully decorated and glowing tent in the side yard. And like the sign indicated them to do, most guests “Danced themselves Silly” all.night.long!

Conor and Lauren, thank you so much for choosing us as your wedding photographers. We had such a blast coming to Ohio and you guys were so laid back for such a big day! Lauren, I especially appreciated your knowledge of photography, and trusting me for the moments in the day when we had to “wing it”. I hope you guys love these photos as much as I do!
