As Christmas is quickly approaching this year, we are taking time to slow down and focus on what matters. Our kids, our family, health and the all our blessings. This October we lost our first baby, our sweet pup Jackson, and I was very nervous about the holidays without him. He has spent every Christmas with David and I for the past nine years and coming across his stocking this year and not hanging it up was heart breaking. We still miss him terribly, but are thankful that with the absence of one family member we have the addition of a new one, our little Deacon. I am so thankful we had these photos taken nine days before Jackson’s passing of our WHOLE family. It was one of the good days for him, and you can see how happy he is in the photos.
