Ben and Sarah {Married! Part 1}

Back in August, I had the honor of being the photographer, as well as a Bridesmaid, for Sarah and Ben’s Wedding! Sarah is one of my best friends and we have known each other since elementary school. She was in David and my wedding, and now is an Auntie to our son Parker. After all of our countless adventures and escapades throughout the years, it was amazing to stand beside her to watch her marry Ben as well as be behind my camera to capture it all. I could not have done it without the help of David, who carried a lot of the weight (on his 30th birthday no less!) as well as a third photographer that day, Elizabeth Boocks.

You would not believe all the hard work that went into transforming this rustic, summer camp into an amazing wedding venue! Sarah, her mom Carol, and sisters Molly and Julia worked tirelessly and creatively to hand craft every last detail. The result was truly a labor of love! Sarah’s dad Vance, other family, friends and neighbors all came together to be able to make the vision a reality. It is so neat to see what can happen when a community comes together to create a magical day for two very special people. Luckily, they also had a TON of help from the wonderful Jen at Perfect Bow Events to ensure everything ran smoothly. Once everything was set-up and the guests had arrived, everyone could finally relax, party and dance the night away!
