Jewel Tone Inspiration Shoot

FILED IN: Weddings

Today I am excited to share with you an inspiration shoot we put together with a few other FAB wedding vendors! You may have seen the Sneak Peak I posted a few weeks ago, it has taken me until now to go through and narrow down my favorites, there were just too many good ones! The original inspiration for this shoot came from Stephanie Miller of Firefly Designs, “As I was watching the Oscars, I couldn’t help but notice all the exquisite jewel toned jewelry and dresses…I just knew it would be beautiful brought to life in a wedding.” After the original inspiration, a bunch of us got together and collaborated on what we think is a glitzy, high-end wedding that anyone would die to attend.

The Head Table, Welcome Table, Ceremony Arch and a lot of the small details were designed and custom made by Firefly Designs. For the head table, jewels were hand glued to goblets and dinner plates, which were offset by gold chargers and a beautiful emerald green silk linen accompanied by gold flatware. The Welcome Table was adorned with a crystal bowl of jewels spilling out, a mirrored sign welcoming guests and a fabric covered board where place cards hung by jeweled knobs. Stephanie also constructed the Ceremony Arch from scratch using plywood and wire. Various size mirrors adorned with jewels were hung from the wire with several different tones of satin ribbon. All the beautiful florals were done by Cori Cook Floral Design. The Bouquet was a modern cascade made of phalenopsis orchids, tulips, dendrobium orchids, dahlias, and folded ti leaves. The centerpiece was made of dahlias, tulips, dendrobium orchids, and anemones. The dessert table was designed by Lemon Sprinkle Events. Love sparkles with jeweled accents, colorful candy, sugared cupcakes and a coconut cake. The cake banner, sequin heart cupcake toppers and Mr. and Mrs. tags were crafted by Jaclyn of Lemon Sprinkle Events. Milk and Ice Cream custom designed all the paper goods. This included an invitation suite with a trifold pocket folder envelope in metallic purple, a gold metallic foil belly belt and a custom designed modern monogram; menus and personalized place cards. The paper stock used for all the pieces was a crystal paper cover with a metallic sheen finish.

The dress worn by our model, Gianna, was generously donated for this shoot by The Little White Dress Shop in Denver. The dress designer is LianCarlo, style #4845. As you can see, it is a gorgeous silk satin drop-waist strapless gown with alternating hand-pleated ruffle tiers in ivory and a crumb-catcher neckline. The silk double ruffle emerald green bridal bolero was handmade by Couture Boutique and all jewelry is from Charming Charlie. Our groom, Dean, is wearing his own charcoal grey suit and white button down by Calvin Klein, purple skinny tie by Express Men and black leather shoes by Kenneth Cole. The AMAZING venue was the new up and coming 2127 Larimer in downtown Denver!

I am in LOVE with the modern cascade bouquet, AMAZING job Cori!

How could you not want to attend this wedding?! It sounds so swanky and chic, yet really fun!

Not only is Stephanie crafty, she’s handy!
