The Poppletons {Family}

Ok just to prepare you in advanced, this post is long….but who doesn’t love more pics, right? These photos I hold very dear to my heart, maybe because the subjects are very close to me. While in Colorado over the holidays, I did a winter photo shoot in Evergreen for my brother-in-law and sister-in-law and my niece Ava (and soon to be new niece-Baby Poppleton #2-notice Christina’s belly). So this was somewhat of a maternity shoot too–another good excuse for this post being long ;o). Just telling you now, Ava is so stinkin’ precious you are about to witness cuteness overload.

Joe, Christina and Ava, I had so much fun planning and doing this shoot with you (although it was FREEZING!). I can’t wait to take photos of your soon to be family of four, and many more throughout our lives I’m sure! Love you guys!

It was Christina’s idea for Ava to wear this hot pink tutu and I think it made the pics kind of amazing.

I uploaded these photos to the computer after the shoot, and when Ava saw these she said, “Where Mommy and Daddy’s heads?”


When picking out Ava’s outfit Christina and I found these awesome argyle tights, now if only they made these in my size!




This is one of my favorites from the day, absolutely precious. This little girl loves her daddy very much.
