Well we have been back in Colorado for about 2 weeks now and it’s been crazy ever since we landed! We’ve got editing up to our ears, an almost 2 year old who has begun the wonderful phase of temper tantrums, a dog that was in and out of the ER, the 1,000 Year flood and the list goes on! So needless to say I haven’t had a ton of time to look at the photos from our trip. But before Fall is in full swing I wanted to share some of them with you. It was such a great way to cap off the Summer and that part of the country could not be more beautiful. You guys…if you know me you know I took a LOT of photos being as that we were away for 2 whole weeks. So I quickly picked out some of the photos that caught my eye from the first few days of our trip.
We began the trip in Newport, Rhode Island which was absolutely gorgeous. We had the BEST weather! Sunny, blue sky, about 75 lovely degrees and best of all about zero humidity. We had such a fun day exploring the town, listening to live music and having some delicious grub. Later in the day we headed accross to Jamestown for dinner, this little town could not be cuter!
The following day we headed into Boston. We walked around the city taking in some of the sights of the historic Freedom Trail, had lunch in Quincy market, and walked around Boston Common. We dipped our feet in the Duck Pond and Parker had a ball splashing around. He also got to ride the carousel with his G-Ma which he thought was pretty fun. We then headed to the beautiful Public Gardens where we rode the swan boats. Before we left the city we bought Parker his very own Red Sox hat and got some ice cream on the wharf. To end the day we headed to my cousins house in Westwood where we had fun barbequeing, laughing and catching up. Good times. We ended the night roasting s’mores in their backyard! This was such a great start to our trip. I can’t wait to share more with you from Nantucket, The Cape, Martha’s Vineyard and Scituate.
