I don’t even know where to begin with this next blog post. Kristin and I have been friends ever since I can remember. It all started at the community pool when we were about four, where we bonded over my hot pink zinca…we’ve been inseparable ever since. We spent our elementary years working on Science Fair projects, embracing our inner cowgirl at the 4-H Farm and spent Summers as Jr. Lifeguards and swimmers on the Turtle Rock Rockets. Through Jr. High and High School we became even closer and pretty much did everything together from our Small Group at Church, to school dances and every thing else in between. Once graduating High School, we were lucky enough to both head off to Colorado to attend CU Boulder, GO BUFFS!! It was because of Kristin that David and I met, and I was so honored to have her stand up as my Maid of Honor at our wedding almost 6 years ago. I am so happy to say, that now in less than a month, she will be marrying an amazing man of her own.
Enter Greg. Greg and Kristin met at CU and exchanged smiles and a few flirtations, but it didn’t go past that. Five years and 800 miles later, Greg finally asked Kristin out, but it was worth the wait. Over the last three years their relationship has been a journey of friendship, faith and finding love again. After spending some time apart, they realized they couldn’t live without each other and that they were undoubtedly meant for each other. And for that I am so glad. Greg, thank you so much for making my best friend so happy. There has never been someone that I knew was right for her…until you came along. David and I knew that you were the perfect match for her….the peanut butter to her jelly if you will. You guys work so perfectly and we couldn’t be happier. I can’t wait to stand up beside you guys at your wedding on September 4th and David and Christina are so excited to capture it all. Until then, enjoy your engagement photos, it was such an honor to be able to capture your love.

Krit, you’re so beautiful.
We took these photos in Newport Beach near the Balboa Pier where we spent so many of our Summers growing up.
These two have so much fun together.
Maybe my favorite.
Then we headed over to Balboa Island which apart from being insanely cute is another place we spent a lot of our childhood and is a special place to Kristin.
We couldn’t be on Balboa Island and not take some photos with a Balboa Bar and Frozen Banana!
YUMMM!
