Seeing that their 1 year anniversary recently rolled around, I thought it was about time I post this Wedding! #toomanyphotos #notenoughtimetoblog 🙁
I loved this couple! Dan and Jen were so much fun during both their Engagement Shoot and on their Wedding Day. The Ceremony took place at Trinity United Methodist Church and the Reception at the Tivoli, both in Downtown Denver. Between the ceremony and reception we walked around Civic Center Park and the Capital building to get some classic Denver city photos of the Bride and Groom. JUST as we finished taking photos we were met with a HUGE downpour!! Luckily we were underneath the colonade in the park by this time so we were covered, but the rain was so strong it started to come in from the sides. So…Dan, Jen, David and myself hovered in a small corner (really the only spot one could hope to stay dry) along with some homeless people and some young kids that decided that would be a great time to light up a joint. 🙂 Needless to say, it was QUITE the experience!!! But Dan and Jen took it all in stride and we all just laughed about what a great story this would be. Luckily, they got a hold of their limo driver who was able to come pick us up. We had to make a run for it because the rain was showing no signs of letting up, David and I desperately trying to cover our cameras and Jen running barefoot through some mud all while holding her beautiful white dress up as high as she could. In the end, we all made it unscathed and in one piece to the reception. And as the saying goes, it’s good luck for it to rain on your wedding day, right?! I think in this case it was, Dan and Jen you are such a wonderful couple, we wish you a belated 1 year anniversary and many many more to come!!
