This Summer there has been SO many showers…both Bridal and Baby. They have all been so cute I can’t resist posting photos of them on my blog. Since our family is anticipating the arrival of our new niece, and I just posted Christina’s Maternity Shoot last week, I thought I would post her Baby Shower this week. I was very happy to throw this shower for Christina along with her Sister-in-law Kristin. For her last 2 babies I wasn’t living in CO yet, so I was very excited to have the opportunity to host this time. Kristin and I had so much fun planning this! Once we came up with the “Cute as a Button” and sewing theme we went a little button crazy!
We had guests guess how many buttons in the jar as well as write their wishes for Baby Girl Poppleton on a fabric square. I am then going to sew these into a quilt for her to keep!
Guests had fun guessing which baby photo belonged to each person in attendance.
“She will be SEW cute!”
Since the shower was at 2:00, we had an assortment of button themed snacks and sweets. The spread included Chocolate Button Pops, Mini PB& Js, Button Cookies, Summer Pasta Salad, Baked Brie, Chocolate Stuffed Raspberries, Pink Lemonade Cake, Assorted Tarts and Pastries and Red Velvet Cupcakes.
I’m no Martha Steward so I was proud my Pink Lemonade cake actually turned out. It was pretty tasty too!
WOW, this is absolutely fantastic!!! How creative and loved all the bright fun colors!
This literally is the cutest baby shower I have ever seen! So perfectly coordinated with colors, food, decorations and such a unique theme. All I can say is “wow”!
Oh my gosh! It turned out SEW cute! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!
Absolutely adorabe, you are soooo talented. I can’t wait for you to plan a baby shower for us when K & J start to have a family. I love it!
