A couple weeks ago we shot Brandon and Tamara’s Engagement shoot on South Pearl Street in Denver. It’s such a cute area with an assortment of eclectic shops, restaurants and a variety of cool architectural materials. These two live close to the area and come here often on an evening bike ride or for a date night. Since they are having a mountain Wedding, they thought this would be the perfect contrast for their Engagement photos. I can’t wait to head up to Grand Lake for their Wedding this weekend!! Should be perfect timing for BEAUTIFUL Fall colors!!
For now, I will leave you with the story of their proposal told by Tamara: “I love going to look at the fall leaves in the mountains, which Brandon knows. A few weeks prior he asked if I would like to drive somewhere to see the leaves and that he would find us a place and plan everything. I just thought, “Oh Wow!” That’s really nice and he’s actually planning ahead (maybe I should’ve known then!). We drove up to Golden Gate State Park where I saw a spot off the road with great leaves for a picture. I asked him to pull over and his response was, “I have a spot planned for us to go.” That’s when I started thinking maybe something was going to happen! We drove up a dirt road to a picnic table overlooking a pond with mountains and orange leaves in the background. He packed us a picnic with cheese and champagne. In the picnic basket he pulled out the ring and asked me to marry him!”
