Topher and Becky {Married!- Part 1}

On this cold Winter day I am wishing it was still Fall. When there is a crispness in the air and you might need a light jacket and boots but the sun is still shining and warm in a bright blue sky. When all the trees are on fire and ablaze with yellow, red and orange and look absolutely magical…those are my favorite days. I thought by looking at these photos it might take us there today. Topher and Becky got married on the PERFECT Fall day. It truly couldn’t have been any better and is the best Autumn day I can remember. Their wedding took place in Beaver Creek on September 29th, which lucky for them (and us!) happened to be the peak for leaves in the mountains this year. It was literally like a wonderland and in my head what Heaven probably looks like. The ceremony took place at The Chapel at Beaver Creek which is one of the quaintest and most charming little churches I have ever shot at. The day was made complete by such a fun and easy going bride and groom. Both Becky and Topher were so relaxed, just enjoying their day..taking it all in and open to taking lots of photos with us! We had so much fun! Since there were too many gorgeous photos from this Wedding there was no way I could fit it all in to one post. Stay tuned for Part 2!

This may be one of my favorite settings for a dress shot ever!

Our first stop for portraits, this beautiful little barn.

Next stop, the deserted Beaver Creek Resort ski slopes.

The Blechars {Family}

Happy Friday everybody! Before Christmas is completely a thing of the past I wanted to post this cute family session. I got together with the Blechar Family this holiday season to take some photos for their Christmas card. We started near Julia’s office with a more natural setting, then headed to the Christmas Tree lot where I photographed them picking out their Christmas Tree!!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

We just wanted to take a minute to say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you! 2012 was such a great year for us and we are beyond thankful for the blessings it brought for us. We look forward to what 2013 will bring. In light of what happened recently in Connecticut, it helps really keep things in perspective moving forward. Our hearts break for the teachers and those parents who lost God’s most precious gift, their children. I cannot fathom what this holiday season was like for them. So please take a minute today to kiss your spouse, hold your children tight and just to be kind to the people in your life…whether loved ones or strangers you meet along the way. We cannot control what will happen tomorrow, but we can appreciate and make the most out of today.

Best Wishes to you and your families in 2013!

Colby, David, Parker, Jackson and Tucker

Thank you, thank you, thank you to our dear friend Sarah Hill for snapping these photos for our Christmas Card this year, we LOVE them! Thanks Sarah!

Jeff and Nicole {Married!}

Today I have Jeff and Nicole’s beautiful Vail Wedding to share with you! Summer in Vail is absolutely gorgeous, there is nothing quite like strolling through Vail Village surrounded by all the vibrant flowers, balmy Summer air and green peaks. Jeff and Nicole truly could not have picked a better location to get married. Saying their vows on the top floor balcony of the Four Seasons with Vail Mountain as a backdrop made for the quintessential perfect Colorado wedding. Earlier in the day we had some rain, so it was touch and go for awhile whether they were going to have to move the wedding inside. Fortunately, at the last minute the skies cleared, they wiped off the chairs and everything was perfect. Nicole remained calm through it all, but we were all relieved when the rain let up as you could not beat the picturesque location they had chosen for their ceremony.

Jeff and Nicole, we were so happy and honored to be apart of your day. You two are like family to us and we can’t wait for what the future has in store for you! May your marriage be blessed with fun adventures, romance and lots of babies!

This was one of the prettiest dresses I have ever seen!
And these Kate Spades were the PERFECT Something Blue.:)

 The Perfect Petal did a phenomenal job on all the flowers!

I may be biased since these are my nieces, but are these not the CUTEST flower girls you have EVER seen??!!

One of the most beautiful ceremonies we have ever shot.

Shooting Jeff and Nicole’s portraits was so fun.  We were able to stroll all around Vail.

One of my favorites.
