Jeff and Wendy have known each other most of their lives. They grew up sailing together around Newport Harbor Yacht Club and little did they know one day they would celebrate their wedding there. Growing up they were just friends but the older they got the better friends they became. The day Jeff came home from college in Montana they started dating…and they never stopped!
I knew Wendy in High School, and recently had the pleasure of reconnecting with her and wound up shooting her wedding! Wendy, this was such a fun day, I am so thankful to have been apart of it! I loved getting to know Jeff and witnessing the love you have for one another…you truly are a great couple.
This wedding was such a blast and had all the little elements that are a photographer’s dream. Prior to the big day, Wendy told me, “We’re a little bit country.” A true country girl myself, this made me excited. I knew the wedding had somewhat of a Nautical theme, but you’ll notice some of the “country” elements mixed in. Jeff even asked his mom if she would wear her cowboy boots to the reception, and she did! Love it!
